Q: What does it mean to live a purpose-driven life, and how do I get there?

Everyone wants to live a life that is happy and fulfilling. This is possible, however; a true purpose-driven life is one that aligns with God’s will. Ephesians 2:10 tells us we are created for good works, which God prepared for us to do. Seek His will through prayer and the study of Scripture, and trust that He will guide your steps (Proverbs 16:9).

Read: Ephesians 2:10, Proverbs 16:9
Pray: Lord, help me discover and walk in the purpose You have for my life. Guide my steps and reveal Your will for me each day. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

Q: If I’ve made mistakes, can God still use me?

Have you ever scolded yourself for making a mistake in your life? Mistakes are simply errors in judgment or action that fall short of what is correct or intended. And, yes, God can use anyone who repents and seeks Him, no matter their past mistakes. David, Paul, and Peter are all examples of individuals used mightily by God despite their failures. God’s grace is sufficient, and His power is made perfect in weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9).

Read: 2 Corinthians 12:9
Pray: Father, thank You for using me despite my imperfections. Help me trust in Your grace and allow You to work through my weaknesses for Your glory.
In Jesus' Name, Amen.

Q: Why does it seem like life gets harder when I try to live for God?

Trials often come as we grow in our faith, but they produce perseverance and spiritual maturity (James 1:2-4). Jesus Himself warned that in this world we would have trouble, but He also promised that He has overcome the world (John 16:33). We are called to trust Him even through the difficulties we experience. It may seem like the challenges you’re facing are too much to bear, but God is with you in the midst of every hardship, working all things for your good. Believe that He is faithful, and in time, you’ll see how He uses even the hardest moments to grow you spiritually.

Read: James 1:2-4, John 16:33
Pray: Lord, help me to endure trials with faith, knowing that You are strengthening me through them. Remind me that You have overcome the world. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

Q: How can I balance my career, relationships, and personal growth without burning out?

The Bible encourages us to work heartily as for the Lord (Colossians 3:23), but also to rest and trust in Him. You don't have to fill your days with endless tasks and striving for perfection, because they will only lead to exhaustion and burnout. Instead of running in circles, Jesus invites us to come to Him when we are weary and burdened, and He will give us rest. The balance you needs comes from relying on His strength, not our own. Let go of the need to do everything in your own power and take on His peace. Be willing to trust that He will provide exactly what you need.

Read: Colossians 3:23, Matthew 11:28-30
Pray: Lord, help me release the burden of striving in my own strength. Teach me to rest in You and rely on Your peace to carry me through each day. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

Q: Is it okay to doubt my faith sometimes?

Even the disciples had moments of doubt (Matthew 14:31). Sometimes we just don't understand why things happen or what God’s plan is. We don't know all the ways that God works in our faith, even though we know He is always faithful and in control. Doubt, if seen from a place of humility and openness, can lead us to deeper faith when we bring our questions to God. Turn those moments of uncertainty into opportunities for prayer and seeking His wisdom. As God turns your doubt into trust and understanding, remember that in Jude 1:22, we are encouraged to show mercy to those who doubt. God welcomes our honest seeking, and He can use it to draw us closer to Him (James 1:6).

Read: Matthew 14:31, Jude 1:22, James 1:6
Pray: Lord, help me to bring my doubts to You and strengthen my faith as I seek You. Teach me to trust even when I don’t fully understand. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

Q: When should I take a step of faith, even if I’m afraid?

God often calls us to step out in faith and trust in Him, even when we’re afraid. The circumstances around us might seem overwhelming, uncertain, or even impossible, but we're not called to rely on our own understanding. Fear can make us hesitate, but Joshua 1:9 reminds us to be strong and courageous because the Lord is with us wherever we go. When we step forward in faith, we aren’t going alone—God is walking with us, and He is able to guide our every step.

Read: Joshua 1:9, Proverbs 3:5-6
Pray: Father, give me the courage to take steps of faith and trust that You are guiding my path. Help me walk in obedience, even when fear tries to hold me back. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

Q: Is God really listening to my prayers?

Yes, God hears the prayers of His children. 1 John 5:14 assures us that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. Even when the answer seems delayed, understand that God works in the waiting, and He is manifesting His perfect plan in His timing. We are to trust that He is always listening and working for our good (Romans 8:28), and as we remain faithful in prayer, we will begin to see how His will unfolds for our lives.

Read: 1 John 5:14, Romans 8:28
Pray: Lord, thank You for always hearing my prayers. Help me to trust that even when the answer is delayed, You are working for my good. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

Q: Why is church so important in being a Christian?

The church is the body of Christ (1 Corinthians 12:27), where believers come together to worship, learn, and encourage one another in the faith. It's more than just a place to gather; it's a community of believers, and it's where we gain strength for the spiritual journey ahead. If you want to grow deeper in your faith as a believer, being part of a church community is essential. Hebrews 10:25 reminds us not to forsake meeting together, as fellowship strengthens our walk with God and helps us grow in faith and accountability.

Read: 1 Corinthians 12:27, Hebrews 10:25
Pray: Lord, thank You for the gift of the church. Help me to value fellowship with other believers and grow in my faith as part of Your body. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

Q: How can I stay strong in my faith when the people around me don’t believe?

Hebrews 10:23 encourages us to hold fast to our faith without wavering. People may challenge your beliefs or question your commitment to Christ, and you may be tempted to compromise or remain silent to avoid conflict. However, stay grounded in Scripture and prayer, and surround yourself with a community of believers (Hebrews 10:25) who will support and encourage you. Choosing Christ over the approval of others is not always easy, but it is essential. He wants to use you as a vessel to show His love and truth to those around you. Keep letting your life be a light to others (Matthew 5:16), even if they don’t believe. Something you say or the way you live out your faith may plant a seed that God will grow in their hearts over time.

Read: Hebrews 10:23, Matthew 5:16
Pray: Lord, help me stand firm in my faith, even when those around me don’t believe. Let my life be a testimony of Your love and grace. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
